Applications are being accepted for existing vacancies and to establish a pool of qualified candidates for positions with Riverside-San Bernardino County Indian Health, INC. (RSBCIHI).  Applications will be accepted by the Human Resources Department at any time and will be retained for a period not to exceed (1) calendar year from date of receipt.  Appropriate testing for skill requirements may be given.  A pre-employment physical exam, which includes drug and alcohol testing, is required.  In addition, you are required to submit a copy of your Driver’s License along with your application for employment, if needed.

NOTICE OF DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE ACT REQUIREMENTS:

RSBCIHI has adopted a Drug-Free and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy, in part, to satisfy its obligations under the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988.  It is unlawful for any employee to manufacture, distribute, dispense, possess or use a controlled substance in the workplace.  In addition, RSBCIHI must be notified within five (5) calendar days of any criminal drug statute conviction for a violation occurring in the workplace.  Employees who are suspected of violating RSBCIHI’s Drug-Free and Alcohol-Free Policy may be required to submit to an inspection of their person, vehicle or personal property.  This may include medical testing for alcohol and/or drug use.

Must have two years experience in an ambulatory care patient setting. M.D or D.O Degree, current California Medical License, current DEA License, American Board of Family Practice Certification and current CPR certification required. Must be able to work a variable schedule including evenings and weekends to meet the program needs.  Must be able to work with the Indian Community, and be sensitive to the Indian Culture and its needs.

Bachelors Degree from accredited college or university. Graduate of an accredited Dental school.  Dental Licensure in the State of CA. Current CPR license required.  Applicant must have at least 3 years of experience/training beyond the undergraduate level. At least 1 year of this must be either professional practice experience with an emphasis on management, in addition must give evidence of a good knowledge of current principles, practices, methods and techniques in dentistry. Applicant will work with various types of patients from the young to the elderly. Must be able to work with the Indian Community, and be sensitive to the Indian Culture and its needs.

Applicant must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Position works under the direction of Optometrist and assists in daily optical functions. Must have a minimum of three years experience as an Optometric Assistant in both front office and back lab, ABO certification required. TELEMEDICINE MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Applicant must possess a High School diploma or equivalent. Must have graduated or successfully completed a certificate program for Medical Assistants and must have at least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, knowledge of telemedicine and use of equipment and maintenance required. Must be able to deliver competent, age-specific care to patients in an ambulatory, primary care setting.  Must be able to work with the Indian Community and be sensitive to the Indian culture and its needs.

Applicant must possess a Masters Degree in Public Health care or related field from an accredited college/university.  Must have four years of experience in a clinical setting with ability to read and write on Patients charts. Must have experience in statistical analysis and using various computer programs. Under the direction of the IT Director, individual will assist patients in identifying and using resources that improve quality of care, improving GPRA measures and other external benchmarks. Must be able to work with the Indian Community, and be sensitive to the Indian Culture and its needs.

Applicant must possess a High School diploma or equivalent, and a current California Drivers License.  Responsible for the overall, day-to-day maintenance of the Clinic facilities and grounds, making certain that cleanliness prevails at all times.  Some nights and weekends as needed.  Must be able to work with the Indian community, and be sensitive to the Indian culture and its needs.

Applicant must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science and have a current Clinical Laboratory Scientist License.  Responsible for specimen processing, test performance and for reporting test results of both moderate and high complexity.  A minimum of 3-5 years experience in medical technology.  Must be able to work with the Indian Community and be sensitive to the Indian culture and its needs.
