NOTICE OF DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE ACT REQUIREMENTS:

RSBCIHI has adopted a Drug-Free and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy, in part, to satisfy its obligations under the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988.  It is unlawful for any employee to manufacture, distribute, dispense, possess or use a controlled substance in the workplace.  In addition, RSBCIHI must be notified within five (5) calendar days of any criminal drug statute conviction for a violation occurring in the workplace.  Employees who are suspected of violating RSBCIHI’s Drug-Free and Alcohol-Free Policy may be required to submit to an inspection of their person, vehicle or personal property.  This may include medical testing for alcohol and/or drug use.

Must have two years experience in an ambulatory care patient setting. M.D or D.O Degree, current California Medical License, current DEA License, American Board of Family Practice Certification and current CPR certification required. Must be able to work a variable schedule including evenings and weekends to meet the program needs.  Must be able to work with the Indian Community, and be sensitive to the Indian Culture and its needs.

PHARMACY DIRECTOR                                                                    

Location: San Manuel Health Clinic (Grand Terrace, CA)

Supervises the Pharmacy personnel at all clinics, defines goals and objectives of the Pharmacy program and provides direct pharmaceutical services as needed. Must have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a current California Pharmacist license. Must have three years of administrative/supervisory experience and have knowledge of FDA, DEA and other regulatory agency regulations and policies as well as knowledge of local policies and procedures. Must be able to work with the Indian community and be sensitive to the Indian culture and its needs.

Applicant must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Position works under the direction of Optometrist and assists in daily optical functions. Must have a minimum of three years experience as an Optometric Assistant in both front office and back lab. Must be able to work with the Indian Community, and be sensitive to the Indian Culture and its needs.

OPTOMETRIST-FLOATER

Applicant must be a graduate from an accredited School of Optometry. Must possess a valid Ca. Optometric License. Experience in advanced optometric procedures and instrumentation techniques and their various applications in the detection and correction of unusual visual deficiencies. Must be able to work with the Indian Community, and be sensitive to the Indian Culture and its needs

CLINICAL CODER/BILLER

Location: San Manuel Clinic (Grand Terrace, CA)

Applicant must be a certified coder (CPC, CPC-P, CCS or CCS-P) with minimum of 1 year experience in an ambulatory setting.  Candidate must have a strong background in ICD-10, E/M, CPT and HCPCS codes.  Also must have excellent knowledge in medical terminology and anatomy and physiology.  Also prefer knowledge of pharmacology, path-physiology and electronic health records.  Must be able to work with the Indian community and be sensitive to the Indian culture and its needs.

CONTRACT BILLER/CODER SPECIALIST

Location: San Manuel Health Clinic (San Manuel, CA)

This position is responsible for initiating, negotiating, and managing all contracts for assigned fee for service/third party facilities, including Medicare and Medi-Cal and commercial insurance. An associate’s degree in health information technology or a related health care or business degree. (RHIT/ RHIA) or bachelor degree through the American Health Information Management Association. Must have Professional Coder (CPC) certification with three (3) years’ demonstrated management/leadership skills along with five (5) years’ coding experience in a physician and/or hospital environment.  Must be able to work with the Indian Community, and be sensitive to the Indian Culture and its needs.

DIABETES NURSE EDUCATOR/CASE MANAGER

Location: San Manuel Clinic (Grand Terrace, Ca)

A degree from a NLN Accredited School of Nursing or a Nutritionist; experience in Diabetes Education required (CDE certificate a plus). Professional consultation and educational services for persons with diabetes, and provides community health education. Develop curriculum on health, including research and production and act as a health care consultant by providing information on the management of diabetes for patients of all ages from infancy to geriatrics.  Must be able to work with the Indian Community, and be sensitive to the Indian Culture and its needs.
