JOB SUMMARY:
Applicant must possess a High School diploma or equivalent, minimum two years of recent hands-on dental billing experience, dental clinical back ground, and knowledge of dental terminology or dental billing training certificate from AAPC or technical school, dental terminology with minimum two years of dental billing experience with clinical background strongly preferred. Experience working with EDR billing system, Dental coverage and billing requirements. Knowledge of Dental billing with strong knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, and dental private insurance plans and how they affect billing. Dental insurance billing and be familiar with all forms of billing, i.e., Medicare, Medi-Cal, both primary and rural, private insurance and CHDP. This position is responsible for dental billing for Denti-Cal, Medicare, and private insurance for the entire organization. Accounts management, authorizations, and collections.
