EHS CLERK

Applicant must possess a High School diploma or equivalent, two years environmental health experience
and have a current California Driver’s License. This position typing assignments involving specialized
terminology and general clerical work of non-specialized nature. Typing speed of 30 wpm preferred and who
is able to operate a computer using Excel, Word for Windows and various other programs. Specialized
terminology in environmental health to type in final form technical reports concerning water and good quality
issues, vector control, epidemiology and other areas of public health. Techniques for the collection and
analysis of water samples, kilit testing procedures and other specialized field activities. Grammar, spelling,
capitalization, and punctuation needed to type a variety of material accurately from written sources or voice
recordings. Must be able to work with the Indian community, and be sensitive to the Indian Culture and its
needs.
