FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER OR FAMILY PHYSICIAN

Applicant must possess a R.N. and N.P. degrees, Current California R.N. license, Current California N.P.
Furnishing Number, Current ACLS certification. The Family Nurse Practitioner provides primary and urgent
patient care in the ambulatory clinic setting. He/she sees all age groups, instituting appropriate diagnosis,
treatment, follow-up, and referral for consultations when indicated. Family Practice Physician must possess
M.D or D.O Degree, current California Medical License, Current DEA License, American Board Certified and
current CPR certification required. Two years of experience in an ambulatory care patient setting desirable.
These position is an integral part of the health care team, which includes other Physicians, Podiatrists, Midlevel
Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, Medical Assistants, Medical
Receptionists, Pharmacy personnel, and Laboratory personnel, and members of the Dental, Outreach,
Community Health Nursing, Behavioral Health Services, and Social Service Departments.
Must be able to work with the Indian Community and be sensitive to the Indian culture and its needs.
