The Mental Health Therapist is a member of the Mental Health Services Department that is generally responsible for providing mental health services, health-related social services, on-call crisis intervention, chemical dependency referrals and consultations as appropriate to meet the needs of Native American clients. Must have a Masters level and/or adhering to regulation set forth by Board of Behavioral Science. Internship with supervision accepted and must be able to receive associate registration within 6 months of employment and be within guidelines set by California Code, Business and Professions Code. Must be able to work with the Indian community and be sensitive to the Indian culture and its needs.
