High School diploma or equivalent. Under direction of a LAADC MATS Coordinator this position will be assisting clients in setting and pursuing their recovery goals, monitoring and quantifying their progress, lending assistance with treatment, and leading by example when it comes to coping strategies that have been helpful in their own recovery. Complete 100 hours of education from the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP), pass an exam, and obtain certification. Complete 525 supervised experience hours. Lived experience in recovery for at least three (3) years. Lived experience with MAT preferred. Local tribal member and/or close social affiliation with local tribes preferred. Must be able to work a variable schedule including nights and weekends and travel to meet client and Program needs. Must be able to work with the Indian community and be sensitive to the Indian culture and its needs.
