Applicant must possess a High school diploma or equivalent. Must be currently licensed as a Pharmacy
Technician with the California Board of Pharmacy. One year experience with knowledge of all aspects of
California Pharmacy Technician Statutes required. Must have or willing to obtain current BLS Certification
from the American Heart Association or Red Cross prior to orientation. As a member of the health care team
the technician participates in the daily operation of the pharmacy department. Under the supervision of a
registered pharmacist, the technician performs a multitude of duties, including but not limited to, record
keeping, inventory control, prescription filling and quality management duties. Must be able to work with the
Indian Community, and be sensitive to the Indian Culture and its needs.
