Applicant must possess a High School diploma or equivalent. Must have experience working with Community
engagement and/or supervisory/leadership. Must posses a valid California Drivers License with a safe driving
record, DMV record required. Under the direction of Project Director, the Youth Advocate/Educator is an
advisor of adolescent culture. This position supports the day-to-day initiatives and strategies associated with
staff and customer relations for Native Challenge Department’s educational programming with the Native
Youth in the local communities. This position is funded by a Grant. Must be able to work a variable schedule
to meet client and Program needs. Must be able to work with the Indian Community and be sensitive to the
Indian culture and its needs.
