Frequently Asked Questions
What is considered ‘fasting’?
Fasting means no consumption of food or drinks other than water for at least 8 hours before testing unless your ordering provider has stated otherwise.
Do I need to fast?
Some tests, like glucose, require fasting, while others, such as Hemoglobin A1c, do not.
Do you provide paternity or genetic testing?
No, we do not perform paternity, maternity, or genetic testing.
Do I need an appointment?
No appointment is necessary, but we recommend calling ahead to confirm that your lab order is ready. Walk ins are required to check-in.
How long will it take to get my results?
Most lab results are available within three to five business days, but some tests may take longer. We recommend completing labs at least a week before your next appointment for timely results.
Can I use a lab order from an outside provider?
If the lab order is from an outside provider referred by our RSBCIHI team, we can accept it. If not, we cannot process lab orders from external providers.
For any further questions about lab services or to verify your lab order, please contact our lab team directly. Our goal is to make your visit as efficient and comfortable as possible.
