Behavioral Health

Behavioral Health Services (BHS) provides culturally competent, confidential, and professional mental health services as well as comprehensive substance abuse services to eligible Native American/Alaskan Native patients and their dependents. BHS is dedicated to offering patients support and care, honoring their unique experiences, skills, strengths, and insights as they navigate their journey toward recovery.

Free mental health, substance use, and family support services for San Bernardino County residents through counseling, education, prevention programs, and community events.

Grand Terrace

Free mental health, substance use, and community wellness services. The center provides therapy, education, and cultural activities to support healing and recovery for all San Bernardino County residents.

Education, and referral services to support mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness. Programs focus on reducing stigma, addressing historical trauma, and promoting healing within Native communities.

Provides culturally based support, crisis intervention, and advocacy for Native victims of violence through collaboration with local and tribal partners.

Outpatient Clinical Services

  • Screenings
  • Clinical assessments
  • Comprehensive and confidential adult, adolescent, and child mental health and substance abuse outpatient services
  • Coordination with external agencies and community partners
  • Referrals for continuing care

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)

  • Suboxone treatment provided in partnership with RSBCIHI medical department
  • No cost — Federally funded
  • Patients must apply through BHS

DOJ Tribal Victim Services Program

  • Supports individuals who have experienced victimization
  • Trauma-informed, culturally relevant services
  • Includes crisis intervention, counseling, and referrals to Native-serving agencies
